Trinity was founded by Laura Spencer in 2009. Following a highly successful 7 years as the top UK & European permanent biller at Computer Futures (SThree), Laura was headhunted to lead the Technology practice for a search and selection firm which she successfully ran for 3 years. With 10 years experience as a recognized leader in the IT recruitment market, Laura was confident she had the credibility, business knowledge and passion to establish a boutique recruitment consultancy that would fill a very obvious gap in the market – a firm staffed only with mature, highly experienced and proven consultants, with vertical market niche specialisms, focused exclusively on senior IT appointments. Working to a strict code of ethics and professional conduct, the aim was simple – hire the best recruitment consultants on the market, and offer a unique service that was unrivalled in both its specialist market knowledge and delivery capabilities.
Laura’s vision was to run an innovative, highly reputable boutique recruitment firm, offering clients and candidates a reliable, tailored, personal and professional service, yet also wanted to offer the security, reach and back office capabilities of a larger corporate organisation. Trinity partnered with PNG Ltd, a £750million turnover diversified recruitment group, who support a portfolio of independent recruitment firms. Trinity retain the independence and flexible approach of an entrepreneurial SME, whilst leveraging the extensive resources and business infrastructure of one of the most successful private corporate recruitment businesses in the UK. This is a truly unique business model in the IT recruitment sector, allowing Trinity to really stand out from the crowd in an already highly competitive marketplace.

Frequently lauded as the market-leading IT architecture recruitment experts, Trinity has established a first-class reputation for being the agency partner of choice to deliver on roles which generalist IT recruiters and traditional PSL’s struggle to recruit.
Our model is usually to hire directly to save costs wherever possible – that said, I have worked with Trinity for 4 years as our sole agency supplier on niche roles in particular IT disciplines. They have the reach and credibility to seek out and present candidates that would just not be available on the general market. I never fail to be impressed by their dedication, downright professionalism and their ability to deliver hidden gems of talent.
